HABITAT WORKING GROUP (HabWG)


ABOUT:
The UniHab Working Group (HabWG) seeks to describe and illustrate what it would be like to have an initial inflatable habitat that would be large enough to support an Initial Crew of eight including the production of their nutritional needs.


OBJECTIVES:
   - Update the UniHab page.
   - Design a UniHab that would meet the needs of an Initial Crew of eight.
   - Work with the Modeling WG to create an inflatable, scale model of the UniHab.
   - Develop a computer 3D rendering of the UniHab.
   - Develop and write up a scenario for the telerobotic set up of the UniHab.
   - Develop a video illustrating the set up of the UniHab.
   - Write up articles in the popular space press (e.g. The Space Review) on the topic.
   - Write up more formal (e.g. scientific) papers on the topic.
