WORKING TOGETHER TO ADVANCE SPACE DEVELOPMENT

ABOUT:
The Solar Drapes Working Group (SDWG) seeks to describe and illustrate what it would be like to have solar drapes designed for a lunar "Peak of Eternal Light" seeking to maximize power and minimize support structural mass.

OBJECTIVES:
   - Update the Solar Drapes page.
   - Develop an animation illustrating how solar drapes could be deployed.
   - Write up calculations of how much power could be produce given a certain amount of payload dedicated to the solar drapes.
   - Work with the Modeling WG to create a scale model of the solar drapes.
   - Potentially create a full-scale (working?) model of solar drapes for the MMAB.
   - Write up articles in the popular space press (e.g. The Space Review) on the topic.
   - Write up more formal (e.g. scientific) papers on the topic.
