WORKING TOGETHER TO ADVANCE SPACE DEVELOPMENT

ABOUT:
The Food Working Group (FWG) seeks to describe and develop the various aspects of how plants and animal from the greenhouse could be stored and transformed into ingredients, how those incredients could be used to meet the nutritional needs of an (Initial) crew, and the culinary aspects surrounding food.

OBJECTIVES:
   - Update the Cookbook page.
   - Working with the Agriculture WG (AgWG), identify the crew's nutritional needs, ingredients needed and the harvest, and planting schedules.
   - Describe the processes involved in going from plants to servings including the role that equipment and telerobots would play.
   - Develop a Lunar Cookbook containing recipes and schedules and to promote (and sell?) the Lunar Cookbook.
   - Write up articles in the popular space press (e.g. The Space Review) on the topic.
   - Write up more formal (e.g. scientific) papers on the topic.
