WORKING TOGETHER TO ADVANCE SPACE DEVELOPMENT

ABOUT:
The Earth Independence Working Group (EIWG) seeks to describe and illustrate what it would would take for a small colony to become increasingly (and ideally completely) Earth independent.

OBJECTIVES:
   - Update the Earth Independence page.
   - Identify the key principles involved in achieving Earth independence.
   - Reach out to experts to improve the understanding and description of each area of Earth independence.
   - Write up articles in the popular space press (e.g. The Space Review) on the topic.
   - Write up more formal (e.g. scientific) papers on the topic.
   - Illustrate and demonstrate (at increasing levels of fidelity) the processes involved in achieving Earth independence.
