WORKING TOGETHER TO ADVANCE SPACE DEVELOPMENT

SPIN GRAVITY
WORKING GROUP (SGWG)

ABOUT:
The Spin Gravity Working Group (SGWG) seeks to describe and illustrate what it would be like to implement an indoor centrifuge to provide as much artificial gravity as reasonable to the Initial Crew, international astronauts, and private settlers.

OBJECTIVES:
   - Update the Artificial Gravity page.    - Review the current concept for an indoor centrifuge and revise if necessary.
   - Work with the Modeling WG (MWG) to produce a working scale model of an indoor centrifuge.
   - Reach out to centrifuge researchers to determine the extent to which full artificial gravity can address the hydrostatic pressure distribution issues.
   - If appropriate, conduct lay-person Gravitron experiments or collaborate with professional human centrifuge researchers to answer specific questions.
   - Write up articles in the popular space press (e.g. The Space Review) on the topic.
   - Write up more formal (e.g. scientific) papers on the topic.
